 Op zondag 6 december 15:15 losgegooid in Lanzarote en op donderdag 31 december 22:15 op Saint Lucia aangekomen.  Departed Lanzarote on Sunday 6 December 15:15 (MET) and arrived in Saint Lucia Thursday 31 December 22:15. De Start / The Start [6 December 2020] Barbara en Jan, mijn buren, hebben me geholpen om bij de dieselpomp te komen. Nadat de boot betankt was werd het dan tijd om te gaan. Nog nooit heb ik mij zo vreemd gevoeld. Ik kan het niet beschrijven. Maar ja, ik heb ook nog nooit 2800 nm solo gezeild. Barbara and Jan, my neighbours, helped me to get to the service station to fill up with diesel. After all the tanks and jerrycans have been filled it's time to leave. Stellendam - Cherbourg

Zondag/Sunday 16 Juli 2017: Stellendam De trossen los (van de boei) en gaan met die banaan. Eerst de sluis door en dan tegen de wind op de motor richting Belgie. Ik ben erg blij dat ik mij heb los kunnen scheuren van Noordschans. "Het moeilijkste van een grotere reis is het losmaken van de lijnen", heb ik regelmatig gelezen. Ik moet bekennen dat het niet zo makkelijk was. Het werklijstje is nooit leeg, op het werk is altijd weer wat aan de hand en natuurlijk ga ik oude bekende missen. Op het moment voelt het nog raar en moet het idee dat in Noordschans geen boot van mij meer ligt wennen. At 9 am I slip my lines and then it's go, go, go. Well not really because I have to pass the lock at Stellendam first and then against the wind towards Belgium on the engine. I'm very happy to having been able to un-velcro myself from the marina in Noordschans. Guernsey - La Coruna

Vrijdag/Friday 21 Juli 2017: St Peter port Het weer is knudde dus maar een beetje door St Peter Port struinen. The weather is not optimal. Lets just visit St Peter Port. Port/Haven Town/De Stad Motor cycles / Motorfietsen School Low tide spot the threshold / Eb en de drempel wordt zichtbaar Boatie MacBoatface / Bootje Zaterdag/Saturday 22 Juli 2017: St Peter Port Zaterdag was een beetje meer van het zelfde. Maar omdat ik besloten had morgen te vertrekken moest er toch nog even wat ingekocht worden Saturday was a bit more of the same. Since I had decided to leave tomorrow some groceries had to be acquired. Zondag/Sunday 23 Juli 2017: St Peter Port Vandaag is het vertrek. In de Grib files heb ik gezien dat de wind in de omgeving van Brest gunstig zal worden. Nog belangrijker, de wind blijft enige dagen in de goede hoek zitten. Maar niet in de omgeving van Guernsey.
